Located between the two main avenues in the city, Diagonal and Sarrią, easy to reach from the airport and the trade fair grounds and located in a lovely English-style stone building, this unique hotel is perfectly situated, where business and pleasure converge.
A red brick faēade houses a hotel with splendid rooms as its most unique feature. All the rooms are split-levels or junior suites, with two clearly distinguishable spaces. In this way, our guests can host visitors, hold meetings or work in their rooms, while always having a private space to rest or enjoy the views of our secluded garden. They can also admire the collection of lithographs by Picasso, Dalķ, Tąpies, Cuixart, Gordillo, Antonio Clavé, Subirats and Chillida, which is displayed throughout the hotel.
The Gran Derby provides 40 rooms, 28 of them junior suites and twelve split-levels, and all with direct-line telephones, safety deposit boxes, mini-bar, individually controlled air conditioning units, background music, alarm clock radio, TV with Canal Plus, satellite dish and pay-per-view channels, fax and modem hook-ups, free broadband internet access and a fully equipped bathroom with hair dryer and bathrobes.
